Week beginning 15/6/08

 

Dear Parents of Children in Year 5,

 

·         The Panto will be today and tomorrow -  Sunday 15^th and Monday 16^th June     6:30 – 8pm in the school hall

·         Fruity Fun Day – Thursday 19^th June - Please allow your child to bring a piece of fruit to school and 1 dh

·         Year Books available until Sunday 22^nd June – ONLY 40dhs!

·         Celebration Assembly- Tuesday 5.00-6.30pm

 

PATHs	English	This week we will be reviewing use of punctuation and grammar.  To help with revision please visit the following site.  If your child is struggling go to Year 4 activities.   http://www.eduplace.com/kids/hme/ k_5/quizzes/#five
	Arabic	This week we are going to revise the work we have covered and read stories. We will also do speaking, listening and reading activities.

	Science and History	Science – We will be finishing our topic on sound this week.  As revision, your child should visit the following web page and aim to obtain 10/10 in the quiz! http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/ ks2bitesize/science/physical_processes.shtml They will need a USB pen to save their work on at school as they will need to work on their project at home and school.  It will be checked on Sunday 22nd June.
