This is what your child (ren) will be learning this week.
English
In English this week we will continue to
revise work done so far. The children will not be
bringing Stage readers home this week but may take books
from the classroom to read. There will not be a
spelling test this week either. For writing we will be
looking at different forms of writing which will include
a film review and letter writing. You can help at home
by taking your child for a visit to the Post Office to
buy some stamps and it will be a good idea to write a
loved one a letter and post it to them instead of using
the conventional email.
Arabic
This week we are going to revise the work
we have covered and read stories. We will study the
Arabic letter which begins the words (y) in Arabic- yad
which is hand and yasmin which is jasmine.
Maths
In Numeracy this week we will be revising
adding and subtracting and will continue with our
introduction to tables. You can help at home by
counting with your child in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s.
