KS3 - All Homework should be approximately 30 minutes long

* The language department will set a short 10 minute homework each lesson.
** The art department will set one piece of homework every second week, this is due to the nature of the subject.
*** ICT Homework will not be set on a strict timetable, but will be set at appropriate points in the course.
Music Homework will be set on an adhoc basis by the teacher as and when appropriate.

KS4 - All homework should be 45 minutes ICT at Key Stage 4 is DIDA and as part of the course students create a plan which states which tasks they will complete as homework and when.
**** At key stage 4 the length of Geography homework may vary depending on the topic being covered, Geography students can expect 2/3 pieces of homework each week.
Post 16
- To be set at the discression of the teacher however as a guidance students should complete approximately 30 minutes homework for each 45 minute lesson.

Extended homework - When a piece of extended homework has been set this should take at least 1 hour no other homework will be set during that week in the subject.
