The Secondary School at
Al Ain English Speaking School
The Curriculum in the Secondary School
is based on the English National Curriculum in Key Stage 3 (11 to 14
years old, Years 7 to 9), with individual department heads tailoring
their courses to take into account the student make-up and the local
environment. In Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11) students follow two
year courses culminating in the GCSE or IGCSE examinations. Pupils
with 5 or more IGSCS passes (at A* to C grades) are then invited to
continue their studies at AS level (in Year 12) and A2 level (in
Year 13). Most of our students then go on to secure places in
excellent universities worldwide.
